On March 24, 2026, our senior club had our monthly field trip to Cabrillo National Monument. Eight seniors and two staff members joined the trip. We all met at the office and left around 10:00 a.m., ready for a fun and relaxing day. When we arrived, we first stopped at the visitor center and looked at the exhibits. We learned a little about the area's history and the lighthouse. After that, we went out to explore the park. There was so much to see, and the views of the ocean and the city were really beautiful. Everyone enjoyed taking pictures and walking around at their own pace. After exploring for a while, we went down to the beach area and had lunch together. It was nice to sit, relax, and enjoy the fresh air while listening to the waves. We talked, laughed, and shared food, which made it even more enjoyable. Later, we went up to the lighthouse and spent some time exploring that area too. The view from up there was really nice, and it was a good spot to take more pictures and rest for a bit. Overall, it was a relaxing trip with lots of beautiful views, fresh air, and good company. ... See MoreSee Less
